Inflation numbers for the US are out and although they are down, they are not as low as were expected. Canadian bond yields reacted in response which means fixed rates are likely to increase this week.

Next week, on February 21st, Canada will release its January inflation numbers. Stayed tuned for those details as they will directly impact the Bank of Canada's next rate announcement scheduled for March 8th.
